2023/24 Soccer Year
Full Annual Year is July 31, 2023-June 30, 2024

VNA forms teams for the U9 and U10 teams during a period of time called "Team Formations".
That time period for the upcoming soccer year happens in June and July each year.
Each June VNA will have several events collectively called June Clinics for NON-MEMBERS.
These are "Try-It" classes for NON-MEMBERS to meet our staff, coaches, and try the training program before signing up for the soccer year.

2023/24 Season - Annual program runs July 31, 2023 - June 30, 2024, training 2x per week Fall and Spring, 1x per week Winter and Summer.
Fall Season: Training July 31-October 27, Games September 8-November 3
Winter Season: Training October 30-February 23, Games November 3-March 10
Spring Season: Training March 1-June 1, Games March 22-June 9
Summer June Clinics: Training June 1 -June 30

Fall and Spring games are typically Saturday and Sunday, if many rainouts occur a weeknight may have to be looked at. NYSL provides game programming for Nebraska, so this includes games in Lincoln, Omaha and the surrounding areas.

Winter Games are typically Friday night, Saturday or Sunday.

The Full Year.
1. Program Tuition: $1095 program fees, includes $350 non-refundable registration and administration fee.
2. Estimated Competition Fee: $350 for 36-39 competitions.

Payment Plan: $1095+$350 is a yearly membership fee: can be paid all at once or using the monthly payment plan.
*This is not a monthly program; you are signing up for the duration of the soccer-year and the yearly fee. We allow for easy monthly payments for your convenience.

OVERVIEW

The Villarreal Nebraska Academy Groguet-TEAM Program provides training and game training opportunities for all skill levels U9-U10.  The training focuses on the individual development of well-rounded soccer players with a proven curriculum based on Villarreal C.F. international training methods.  This program provides an opportunity to learn the basic skills associated with Villarreal Nebraska Academy in an team environment.  

Developmental Stages and Age Appropriate Focus:
1. Motor Skill Development, Ages 0-6
2. Fundamental Stage, Ages 6-9
3. Learning to Train, Ages 8-12
4. Training to Train, Ages 11-16
5. Training to Compete, Ages 15-18
6. Training to Win, Ages 17+
7. Retirement
Age when players begin to learn from their mistakes, Ages 9-11

Players and families should understand that this program is to be part of a team structure, training together with a coach. Therefore, commitment and attendance should reflect what it means to be a team member. Yellows-TEAM players will be given the opportunity to play in competitions once teams are confirmed and competitions get planned. No tryouts required.

Groguet-TEAM players are encouraged to participate in other athletic, academic, and extracurricular activities, but should try to attend training and competitions as often as possible.
